Jeffrey Allen Ament is an American musician and musician best known as the bassist of the American rock band Pearl Jam, which he co-founded with Stone Gossard, Mike McCready and Eddie Vedder. Before collaborating with Pearl Jam, Ament was a member of the grunge rock band Green River and Seattle-based Mother Love Bone.
